Think of it this way, the Ipad is a computer for those who are computer illiterate. If I were to teach my Grandma to use a computer, this is what I'd give her. Easy to understand interface, no mouse or keyboard simply touch what you want on the screen.

Do your grandmother a favor and get her an Android tablet instead. Trust us.
All the advantages you've just described and more, such as not having to pay for browser games.

Wait for Gingerbread to be released. The current Android system isn't optimised for tablets yet.

Indeed. I can't even fathom why someone would buy an iPad. it's not as convenient as an iPhone and it doesn't do half of what a laptop can do. It's ridiulous.

Well, iPad has it's advantage at surfing on net, email checking, video and movies watching.
