Take it from a guy with depression, if you don't cheer up everyone you hate wins

Oh and go for a walk and masturbate (not at the same time). I'm not joking you'll fee a lot better

When I was doing homework yesterday my cat jumped onto the table. He began rolling around and accidentally rolled off the table.
My cat is proof against the belief they always land on their legs.

I'm gonna dump links to a few songs that always make me really happy. Especially on nice days. Give 'em a listen (especially the first one), who knows, maybe they'll help.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYsbZbAKnAg (This Will Destroy You: "The World is Our _____")
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4pcrMmP88A (This Will Destroy You: "Happiness: We're In This Together")
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WkP_NaMsrMM (Sigur Ros: "Hoppipolla")
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bI8S0RvNgbQS (Sigur Ros: "Gobbledigook")
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X4j-4FElT8E (Jonsi and Alex: "Happiness")
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yUaCxx5npko (Mogwai: "The Sun Smells Too Loud")

Hope it helps!

It's not a permanent solution, but this worked for me yesterday: Pictures of baby weasels in the wild. [http://birdscalgary.wordpress.com/2011/10/26/weasel-wednesday-2/]
All of my "d'aaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwww". ALL OF IT. THEY'RE SO TINY!

OT: When I have a depressed stage, I tend to flow with it. Make it happy, and it goes away.

See if you can find a big window at night that stares out into the city, and just stare while this plays.

It's a bit corny, but it feels really appropriate. I usually go back to normal after a day or two.

If you start to feel significantly more depressed, abandon immediately and follow everyone else's advice.

Go to whichever mirror in your house that has the best lighting. Most likely gonna be the bathroom mirror, but if you have a decently sized and well-lit hallway mirror then that's even better.

Once you're there, look at yourself. Smile, and try to give off a positive expression even though you're feeling down. Now say to your mirror self, with energy and confidence; "you are a great person."

Now say it again, preferably with some variation between each time ("you are a great person," "you are a great person," "you really are a great person," etc.). Chances are the variations will come naturally. The only real trick is to make it sound like you really mean it.

Feel any better?

wow, I'm impressed, you guys are all really nice to post things for this guy. I am currently suffering from a problem with anxiety atm, depression and anxiety usually go hand in hand but hopefully not in this guys case.

But just in case he is here is a program that worked for me, http://www.thelindenmethod.co.uk/.

The guys sales pitch for his stuff is quite terrible, but the program itself 100% worked for me within the first day of using it. You can dl for free off pirate bay or pay for it whichever is up to you.
