Murder she wrote

Jessica: "It was you who killed bob!"

Killer: "No it wasn't"

Jessica: "It was, I saw you doing the laundry and your necklace was missing"

Killer: "Oh my yes it was, I admit to everything"

*Pulls out gun*

Killer: "Fortunately I'm going to stand here and not shoot you until some random police guy shows up"

Cop: "Police"

Killer: "Ahh no why didn't I shoot you like 2 minutes ago"

Every bloody episode is the same. But for some reason I can't stop watching it.

Nyway I'm gonna go with any kind of soap in the 90's
Soaps are a whole new category because you can bring in the Spanish/Italian/Brazilian ones and they are mind-blowingly awful.

Before you even go onto Prisoner Cell Block H

When I was at high school, there was this American sitcom on during the morning that we all used to watch when we were skiving or on study leave, called 'Step by Step'. It starred Patrick Duffy and Suzanne Somers, and it was about two people who got married on holiday, and whose families from previous marriages have to live in the same house, despite being wholly incompatible - with hilarious consequences. I watched it again recently, it's so cheesy you could mistake it for a parody of cheesy sitcoms. I was amazed to see that it ran for seven seasons.

Would it please you to know they have released all episodes of Prisoner in an unprecedented One-hundred-and-seventy-four disc box set?

What, no Power Rangers? Admittedly the newer seasons are downright AWFUL instead of cheesy, but the older ones actually make it work somewhat. At least I can still watch those. Actually, most cartoons broadcast during the 90's can be applied to that standard.

Spongebob is an excellent example of how cheese can add to or detract from a show, even though it's more modern. Look at the early episodes: you have comedy, wit, parody, with a delightfully light layer of Parmesan. Look to the latter ones, and it's like the chef decided to layer on the mozzarella with a fire hose.

Gotta say, Sledge Hammer was anything but serious. It was extremely tongue-in-cheek.

OT: Either Captain Planet, or the Rambo cartoon.

i'm going to go with Horatio here.
I love it when he does that sunglasses thing, and i sometimes do it with mine to annoy my friends but that doesnt mean its not still unbelievably cheesy.

The A-Team: Really, if you've never seen this, then you haven't lived.
I really would have to go with this. I have the first two series on DVD, and I absolutely love it. Cheesy as hell, and Mr. T isn't that great an actor (especially in the first series), but it's still great fun. Admittedly, pretty much every episode has exactly the same format, and despite hundreds of bullets being fired almost nobody actually dies, but it's still one of the most outright fun TV series I've ever seen. Plus, it's the source for an endless mine of quotes.
