Any stories of parents, siblings or family friends feeding you a line of bull/screwing you over in amusing ways?
Mine is this: When I was six, I went down into the kitchen to hear my mum talking on the phone saying she was going to the pub to get a drink with Shaggy. (Shaggy is the nickname of a guy who lives in our village. I did not know this.) As soon as she finished the phone call, I asked about Shaggy. Seeing this as a perfect opportunity to make my day epically, she played along that this was THE Shaggy from Scooby Doo, and agreed to take me to the pub to meet him. It wasn't meant to be any kind of joke. We went along. He even looked the part a little, too, with um... unruly blonde hair. So I was like "aw, wow! You're Shaggy?" He had been forewarned, and said "oh, yeah I am." (in my excitement, I ignored the fact he sounded nothing like him) so after a few minutes of chatter, I asked "So where's Scooby?" To which Shaggy replied, without missing a beat "oh, Scooby's dead."
