Have any of you Brits raised money for CiN?

My school did leg waxing, seniors conga, sponsored silences and stuff today & raised over £1600 and got a mention on the tv show!

My good friend Mr. Beard is shaving his Beard for all those poor kiddies. And, so, he gets MONEY from US. He better give them that money, or else, I'll imprison him in a closet until he grows his beard back.

We, in Sweden, have a (what I think is a) similar thing.
Röda korset (Red Cross)
Or Rädda Barnen (Save the Children)

Both basically have 3 hour tvshows a year, and they raise... I think it was 9 million Swedish, which is about... 1 250 000 Dollars

Me being a greedy soulless bastard (and underage, mind you) didn't give shit.

This has nothing to do with what you asked, but still
I think Children In Need runs for a full 24 hours or something ridiculous like that...

No, I find it quite annoying actually. My local pub even has an anti-pugsley bear sign set up.

There really isn't anything more annoying than trying to have a quiet pint, when some hyper-active student comes over and mugs me in the name of charity... Like seriously, I don't abuse kids so why are they trying to make me feel bad for not giving money away? I donate to the NSPCC and WWF already...

I Spent £20 of my remaining £70 on krispy Kremes down at the SU today, feel so sugary and sweet now. Taste those calories.

EDIT: also the dance group spent 6 hours dancing in the city centre apparently. also saw something to do with guitar hero in the SU, something involving those exercise bikes and few other bits, however i didnt look twice due to the fact i had seen advert for Krispy Kremes and wasnt interested in sod all else :p

Is it wrong that the first thing I thought of when I saw the title was "...deserve Puffs, indeed!" ?

I'd donate if it were 'Children on Speed', basically, my idea is, get loads of children, get them all high on speed, arm them to the teeth, then put them in one of those big play park things like Planet Kids or Alphabet Zoo and then see what happens.
