Having taken a defensive position near Keshi and the pitiful god Hymir was ready to strike at the first sign of trouble. The cowards were rather difficult to see with their camouflage but having trained with the likes of Thor in Valhalla, he knew how to hunt such prey. It was because of this that when the first of the group made their move toward their captive, Hymir was quick to interpose himself between it and it's prize.
