Nobody has mentioned this yet so I guess I'll be the first
It's an old tv series called "The Tribe", based on a world of children that must survive on their own without help from any adults. There is some kind of deadly virus that kills off all the adults and will then kill anyone who reaches adult age, even years later (y'know, for kids!).
I havn't seen it in almost a decade but I don't remember ever disliking the show, my sister absolutely adored it. It hit a lot of topics that I guess we'd consider controversial these days.

It would all depends on the personalities of the people who were on that Island.
If you have a high percentage of homphobic white power terrorists and a black homosexual couple it'll go poorly.
