I prefer toffee-y and nutty things, but toffee + chocolate =

X3 X3 X3 X3 X3 X3 X3 X3

I like dark chocolate a lot too, and chocolate oranges...

Aw hell, I love most sweet things. ^_^

I really want a pecan tart right now...

Yeah, sure, who doesn't like chocolate. But it wouldn't be my first choice. You can't eat it all the time or it's taste is gone.

Chocolate is alright, I guess.
I'm not really one for sweets.

And anyway it gives me a migraine.

I do love Snickers and Reese's, though.
Everything gives you some kind of headache, apparently. Don't you think it'd be a good idea to get that checked out?

From a Brit perspective... they've just relaunched Old Jamaica. Cadbury's dark chocolate with rum and raisins. I loved it when I was a kid, but they stopped making it forever ago. Then, last week, I saw it in Sainsbury's and bought six of the big bars.

...that stuff had better not be discontinued again. HULK SMASH etc.

I'm not bothered about all this Swiss and Belgian chocolate, a bar of Cadbury's stuff will do me fine. As for American chocolate, all I've had is Hershey's which is... not all that great. The peanut butter cup things are alright.

EDIT: On second thoughts, I don't think the peanut butter cup things are Hershey's. But I can't remember what they are. They're in an orange packet.

I like chocolate, and I don't think most American chocolate is as good the rest of the world's (American chocolate tastes somewhat waxy compared to the chocolate I've had from other countries).

I don't eat candy and deserts much, but I do like chocolate milk-more specifically ovaltine. I don't even drink white milk anymore. When I do eat chocolate I prefer dark chocolate over milk.

I love chocolate, but US chocolate is crap. Most of the US makers dont even have actually cocoa in the chocolate anymore.

I love me some dark chocolate though, I usually get black chocolate from the asian market here. I can go up to 80% for my dark chocolate but I like milk chocolate as well, dont even get me started on getting chocolates from a chocolatier with all the different truffles and cremes....

Sorry, got carried away their for a second.

As with everything else in the US though, unfortunately cheaper and faster is winning out over quality and skill and it can be no more true than in the chocolate industry.

Gah I find once you go past 70% cocoa on plain chocolate, its so bitter its like eating aspirin.

But then I don't like beer or spirits or wine either, I maybe just have an immature palate.

However as a Brit, and maybe someone else can back me up here, I find Hersheys has unpleasant 'hint of vomit' taste to it, and seems very plasticy.

I do really enjoy Reese's pieces and the rest of their range however.
