Christmas Avatar Request Thread 2015

Maybe someone could add a santa hat to mine or something? I dunno if there's enough space up there though, maybe add a santa beard or some sparkley tinsel on his shoulders instead. Looking at it again, a santa beard is way more viable so just go with that. If not it's cool, I just thought some silly Christmas stuff with his srs bsns expression might look funny. The original size of picture is pretty huge, I was surprised the forums accepted it as is to be honest.

Hah! Yours was fun, but took me a *LONG* while to get something I was happy with, so sorry about the wait. Looked REALLY stupid with a beard though, and not in the good way. Your dude there went through a lot of different transformations. This has been my best though.

Still happy to add a few extra things. I tried also adding more tinsel, but I found the minimalist approach worked best there. Indeed, I found your dude was funnier if he only had the Santa suit and the annoyed look on his face.

No more quoting Aerostream at this point, he's probably going to be inundated with mails once he gets back. I'll stop bothering Frappe as well until he's done with his finals. Good luck man! May you not need it!

I'll take MeatMachine's next please. I have a dark idea, and I hope they like it... >

Can I get a soaked, wilted little Santa Claus hat on my drowned baby please?

Tried taking it in a darkly different direction...

Strangely, to me, it has the opposite effect of what I thought it would have. Huh. I'm hitting the sack for now. Won't be able to do too much tomorrow, so I'll play around with it again if you'd like Tuesday (Wednesday for me!). More than happy to scrap that though. Just thought I'd experiment a little. If you like it, cool. But I'm happy to do your actual request a bit later.

I think one problem with it is not just a problem with the eye. Sure the colours of santa are too different and the lack of reflection also hurts it. I think the biggest kicker is the perception we have of Santa itself.

What I mean is that Santa would never drown a baby, thus, the picture must be of Santa gingerly stroking the head of a drowned dead baby. Saddened by this tragic loss, on this, Christmas day. Poignant.

Tried animating it by having the baby flail it's arms about. I got a two frames and it got disturbing. Fast.

But you want a dead baby with a xmas hat so here it is!

Sorry for the lack of reflection. It's not really that noticeable, but the attempts I made to make a reflection didn't help, so if you want, one of these other guys might be able to do a better job.
