It nearly upon us, people. So I ask you, what videogame characters would you invite over for a christmas feast and why?

For me, I'd invite:

- Gordon Freeman, cause I'm not much of a conversationalist
- Fat Princess, because I always cook too much food.
- Max from Scribblenauts, cause Dammit, he's got a cool hat.
- that kid from Limbo, he looks like he could use some cheering up.

Raz from Psychonauts.
Edwin Odesseiron from Baldur's Gate.
Guybrush Threepwood, from the Monkey Island series.
Yuna, from Final Fantasy X
Mission Vao from Knights Of The Old Republic.
A Liir Elder from the Sword Of The Stars.

Raz, for the funny and childlike, yet fairly mature down to earth attitude. plus, I might have some mental baggage to sort.

Edwin, to power up the party and be the butt end of many, many jokes. With hilarious retaliations.

Guybrush, to keep Edwin in line (A might pirate? you?... wait, what do you mean you've defeated an immortal otherwordly spirit at least three times, assembled the Ultimate Insult and know a cabal of lawyers? How! You aren't even a wizard!") and for slapstick humour.

Yuna, for the female touch and to make sure any casualties don't linger around. And it's not like her personality is a downer.

Vao, to keep Raz entertained and sneak a few potions from Edwin to me. As well as for that little 'party like there is no tommorrow' feeling.

A Liir Elder, to play literal mindgames as entertainment ("Silly Edwin, it is like you have no practise in Hide-The-Thought. How can I invade your privacy, when there are no almost no walls to make your mind private?") as well as have philosophical discussions with. And the poetry. Musn't forget the poetry.
