I have an Xbox 360, and so far I've got a pre-order for BF:BC 2. I do not want COD. I'm considering Bioshock, Fallout 3 and The Orange Box. Any other suggestions? Great games you've played recently? Thanks.

EDIT: Now got two near-certain choices, TOB and Mirrors Edge (Hell, it's a fiver on Amazon, can't go far wrong with that).

No, I'm a low console gamer. Although I do have the Orange Box for PC. I really wanted Garry's Mod.

Aha! The Orange Box. Excellent, I'll have to think about that.

Orange Box is great, albeit Valve's first foray into the consoles, so TF2 really lacks support.

Fallout 3 is great, and now that the Game of the Year Edition is out, that would be worth it.

Bioshock is excellent, and there is an awesome bundle somewhere abouts where you get Oblivion with it for only $30.

However, I am playing Dragon Age: Origins, and am absolutely loving it. Other than graphics, there is nothing wrong with the game, and at least to me, graphics are the least of my worries playing a game.

Another somewhat offbeat recommendation is Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena. Very, very good game, and I believe it comes with the first Chronicles of Riddick game (at least it did for PC) both of which are amazing. It really mixes things up so you're not doing the same, shoot, kill, rinse, repeat cycle.

Interesting, I'll look into them.

I don't play a ton of 360 games so I'm probably not the best here, but Dragon Age is fucking amazing on PC so I assume it's at least awesome on the box.

I'd also recommend The Orange Box but go in knowing that it's criminal how Team Fortress 2 is supported on consoles. It's nearly a different game altogether on PC. And by different game, I mean best game ever.

If Assassin's Creed 2 is as good as everybody says it is, then get that.
Ff your're interested in fps, you can't go wrong with Halo:ODST.
Brutal Legend is a good choice also but I don't know much about it.

P.S Be careful with Fallout 3, you'll either love it or hate it.It Does have some problems I warn you.

dragon age sucks on the box, while it rocks on the pc. Reason? Bioware devs games for the pc, and then ports it to the console. In return, console gamers get horrible updates and toned down graphics, while pc gamers get pure awesomeness, at least when it comes to Bioware. Mass Effect on pc = awesome, Mass Effect on console = bad, and same with KOTOR 1 & 2.

The graphic in DoA is an example. Dragon age on xbox looks horrible, and plays horribly. Dragon age on pc is awesome, graphics looks amazing on max.

Silent Hill Shattered Memories (out in time for the americans anyhow as I understand it); A heart warming snow-scaped tale of family togetherness and affection bundled with liberal helpings of psychological torment and blind terror. Screams (no pun intended) 'Christmas' to me.

THE SABOTEUR.

Looks great. And for God's sake, AC2 if you haven't got it - a fabulous game.

Well from the games that you listed it sounds like your into shooters, so I can recommend Borderlands, and Left 4 Dead 2. Also are you a fan of Batman? If so Batman Arkham Asylum is a pretty slick game.
