Well, earlier on today, my girlfriend broke up with me. By today i mean Christmas. A holiday of happiness and togetherness..obviously not for her but anyway.

My question is: Has anything like this ever happened to you at Christmas or another holiday? I don't mean just breakup's. I mean anything that made you bit sad, or angry. Basically something, that you think shouldn't have happened on that day.

Well, a couple Christmas's ago my mom was always upset cause it was the first christmas without my dad here, so it was unlimitedly depressing.

My reclusive great-aunt just died on tuesday so the rest of the familys pretty shaken up. I'm not really affected because I never met her. My grandfathers really down because now only him and his other sister are left of their family.

Not really, no. I live in far-off woods and I'm on disability pension and not with any access to transportation I don't need a place to stay in in the destination (read: one or two buses going from here to anyplace populated per day, even less back), so all my friends are online.

I mean, I don't get along with people. But on the other hand, people remotely my age also do not simply exist within a distance I can travel without aid.

So yeah, Christmas and New Year's tend to be times for contemplating suicide methods - even more aggravated by the fact that my truly intolerable family all gathers here, and I enjoy talking with my family more or less as much as a colonoscopy. Wait, fuck that. I'd gladly take a weekly colonoscopy to not live with my family.

... a prospect that isn't that far off given my medical problems. ;_;
