I just bought CIV4 today. how can you group units, IE spearmen + crossbowmen, together?

(i'm on PC version btw)

I wouldn`t say completely different but certainly a lot simpler and shorter than it`s PC counterpart

It is no more the same as any of the other games in the civilisation sirese.

You can't, you have to move them individually. But if you have them on the same square, the unit with the highest defense will fight.

If you want to move every unit on a tile at once then double click it and give he order, it's not advisable though as they will spread out rather than move at the rate of the slowest unit, your siege weapons are often left behind so only do this when there is no threat.

If you mean grouping for combat then yeah, like people said, combat is resolved individually.

just move them onto the same square, then double click on the same square to select all the units. Try to keep different unit types seperate though.
