I have been playing a lot of Civilization V with a friend of mine and we are liking using earth constantly, we find it the most fun because you never know where you start but eventually you will learn where in the world you are and can refer to places in the map by their real world geography, and you have to plan your game by using what you know about the area and the terrain.

Now playing earth a lot gave me an idea, using a map from another game, I know that stuff like Skyrim, the Final Fantasy world Maps, and the place from Game of thrones have been made already.

What I want to know is, is there some one who knows of or can make a custom map of the continent of Jugdral from Fire Emblem Genealogy of the Holy War, preferably with Civ spawn locations or city states at the places where the castles of the game are located.

I don't know much about Civ modding and dont have the time to really learn it so I would be thankful for any one who knows of or can make this map.

Also feel free to discuss some stories or anything from Civilization here as well, for the type of game it is, I know there should be some good ones.

I'll start.

So playing a multiplayer game of me an my friend on one team co-op agains 10 other civilizations in a huge map, Earth. We set ourselves and the AI to random.

I ended up with Arabia starting in Saudi Arabia and my friend got America. Now where he started in Africa was a really bad spot for him as he had little production and was being harassed by barbarians constantly, I had to help him out and the only thing he could really do was take advantage of the food produced by the jungle he started near.

So we realized that Arabia had to help America where all America could do was grow and expand (my friend started chanting "Grow, Expand, Explode" like the carrot from Courage the Cowardly Dog), and began laughing our asses off because no matter what nearly every action in that game that pushed us toward victory could be interpreted as a political statement by any one who watched us. Some times I swear RNG's in games have souls and the one that picks Civs and starting locations has some pretty strong political opinions.

gonna sticky this, it'll be interesting to see what crops up.

as of recent i have just gotten back into CIV V myself, haven't gotten "brave new world" yet as I don't have the funds, but have everything else thus far.

All of my games I play single player against the AI, and I usually set it to random (just for the fun of it) and go at it that way (occasionally will setup teams, rather than free for all). Now I have no idea if this is coincidence or not, but anytime I play in a game where there are more than one "indian" civilizations (aztec/inca/iroquois/maya/etc..), they ALWAYS build on both sides of me (seriously, it gets fucking ridiculous how it happens every time there are two of those civs in a game) and they proceed to spend the next 200 moves taking turns gang raping me, it gets fucking ridiculous to the point that the last time this happened i quit immediately as soon as i saw two of them had settled on both sides of me.

Now I know free for all and "alls fair in love and war", but it's fucking horseshit that they always seem to team up and just butt fuck me the whole game so I can't get any solid development going, and instead am left bleeding the whole game, the AI is a cheating little skank -_-

however this last time I played, I did manage to whoop some fucking ass, the aztecs had gotten the great wall of china built (I was able to bum rush and setup cities really quickly around them though so they couldn't get much land development) and I was able to nuke their capital to kingdom come and nuke the mayan's 3 closest cities to me all in the same turn, and I took over the aztec and mayan capital in the same turn, it felt fucking glorious watching the AI be a sniveling little ass and QQ all over the screen.

Haha

Oh your story could not be more perfect because the game I am currently on with my friend he was instantly rushed by the Incans. Luckily the team nature and the fact that I was playing as Korea meant we skyrocketed ahead in science and technology. He has been at war since about 300AD and we are hitting about 1500AD in game and he has just got them down to one city, because he as Austira was gonna do peaceful City-State Takeoves , he was unprepared for war and the mountainous region of China/Syberia was hurting his speed even though he had the troops to easily crush them, but its wasn't until he was going for their capital that he actually lost any of his units.

Captcha: Good Work

ok Captcha I'll tell him what you think
