Never played D&D before, but i've always enjoyed the setting, concept, and it's influence. I am, however, a veteran in normal forum RPs. Never too late to start, right? It'll kill a couple of days, i'm sure. Tell me if anything's wrong with my character. (Besides the order of descriptions.)
[b\]Name:[/b] Wick Glendower
[b\]Gender:[/b] Male.
[b\]Race:[/b] Unspecified "Mongrel" Human. (I think it's funny to have a guy with "unspecified" extra racial traits.)
[b\]Height:[/b] 5'7"
[b\]Weight:[/b] 120lbs
[b\]Skin:[/b] Dark tan, sickly skin.
[b\]Hair:[/b] Long, dark brown/black hair.
[b\]Eyes:[/b] Bright yellow.
[b\]Class:[/b] Bard. (Prefers [i\]minstrel[/i].)
[b\]Alignment:[/b] Chaotic. (Not neutral, evil, or good. Just chaotic. If that's okay.)
[b\]Equipment:[/b]
Suave, adventurer's outfit. [+1 charisma]
Mandolin.
Tin whistle.
[b\]Skills:[/b] (Don't know any that would be important for a bard. Besides "play music", but i'm not sure if that's really in the game.)
[b\]Feats:[/b] (Nor do I know any useful feats or their distribution.)
What for? We've already got a Bard, three Rogues and two fighters. (If you count the DM.) That's [i\]over[/i] full 5 the Dm was looking for.
What do we need a healer and a spellcaster for anyway? We'll just have one of the members carry a bag of health potions, and I can multiclass as a warlock or a sorcerer or whatever sort of magewright you require.
EDIT: How about this, since we have so many rogues, how about one of them just becomes a cleric and i'll add some fire-throwing spells to my mandolin. (If possible.)
I hate to do this, but It would be a lot easier on me and everyone if you all just used a character generator. It's become too confusing to manage with these custom rules; I'm really sorry about this. You can keep your ability stats the same, or re-roll if you like, just don't make your stats all upper range. Use the generator for things like feats, skills, and equipment. I just think that it'll help everyone, including me.
Here are a few links for good character generators(feel free to add some if you like)
http://www.pathguy.com/cg35lite.htm
http://dnd3rd.sourceforge.net/ (you may have to re-enter a couple times in this one; it can mess up sometimes)
Once again... I'm sorry, but I feel it would be best to make this work well. That, and it will help the non-D&D players have a better understanding.

I'm sorry guys... but this is getting nowhere. I don't think that I'll be able to manage this RP, it seems way to confusing to transfer something as complex as D&D and put it into a simplified version on these forums. If there is anyone able to do it, it's not me. I'm sorry... If any of you would like to take the idea and create your own RP, go right ahead. I guess I'm not ready to host my own RP yet. Oh well. If anyone does decide to transfer the idea and make their own RP out of it, PM me; I'd love a spot.
I'm sorry for wasting your time.
I might actually be able to make this work, but I think I'll just have this thread locked. If I decide to do it again, I'll just make it so there's no skills or feats to mess with.
