Damn, that's a hell of a question to think about. So many classics come to mind. These are some of my favorite classics. Mine tend to be more obscure to the general audience. Sorry if this seems like a wall of Youtube vids.

I don't know why you feel the need to label yourselves as "classic rockers". There is absolutely no reason to ever pigeon hole yourself into a category simply because you tend to enjoy a certain type of music. Frankly I think its absolutely retarded to assume that:
a) there is an all time best rock song, it being entirely dependent on personal tastes
b) that just because its "classic rock" it is somehow more valid as a "rock song" than other "rock" genres (all the "'d terms being entirely ambiguous and generic terms).
c) that people who don't listen to classic rock have no valid opinions on the best rock song
and a whole host of other reasons why this thread is a non-inclusive and rather assuming thread.
