Thats the point people are missing. Ranged weapons are a piece of cake to use. One you learn how to aim it right then it a piece of cake.
Where as with close combat its all about your own body skills. Your dexterity, strength, speed, balance etc etc.
Where as with a sniper rifle, even if its that quite frankly silly cat and mouse game. It's just pull a trigger at the right moment. Quite frankly I can't think of anything more boring than that to be brutally honest.
Why anyone can think something as cowardly and barbaric as a rifle can be classy I'll never know.
Older firearms i can understand as classy since they've got the accuracy of a blind cripple throwing lawn darts. Much more is left to chance.
But all in all as many agree if you are looking for true Elequence and class then a bladed weapon of somekind is a must. After all, the most cultured regions in the world developed around such things.
