Hey, I'm an avid gamer, reader, smoker (pipes only though... as if that made it better) and wearer of sunglasses; and I like to think. I spend most of my time doing it, and I've been thinking of a whole lot of things some of which I would appreciate some feedback from.

Now, not to turn this post into a massive wall of text I've decided to start small and see where it leads so here goes:

Noticing a lot of different exo-skeleton/suit type things appearing in many games (like Stalker or Crysis of Fallout) I was wondering the possiblities of a real suit/skeleton of this style. No, not the dodgy staccato movement limited capability ones i've seen in action like that vid from the U.S army or the on that engineer made that he would ride in the chest of.

I was thinking of a slightly different sort of suit. I was thinking firstly in the terms of parts and balence, a back pack of some sort which offset the weight of the body and suit to the ground, as the user would wear some sort of brackets on his feet and legs transferring the weight.

Now I know so far this is very vague, and I really hope to expand this more depending on the sort of reaction I might get, I'm at work right now (lunch time) so I'll finish here.

p.s Oh yeah, I didn't really think that Subject line through....

Prototypes are being designed but don't expect them for anyone without a couple mill to blow. I remember seeing a clip of someone wearing a suit and lifting a large crate as a demonstration.

Yah, finally off work. Can now expand a bit.

I tend to jump around thoughts a lot and between the time I wrote the last thing and this post I thought of something cool:

Everything is composed of frequency/vibrations (stick with me here), everything vibrates (as close as I can come to saying what I mean) a certain rate and around us, on various frequencies or dimensional planes exist waves of matter operating on a vast spectrum of vibration.

For example, broadcast radio exists on a certain frequency, wi-fi on another, mobile phones etc.. you can even take into account the audible spectrum of sound (an obvious vibration of matter) and heat (another vibration of which light is produced - white at it's highest frequency).

Now, taking these things into account I was thinking of solar power, and how it attempts to convert light energy or vibrations (as I understand) into electrical power - another frequency, and I was thinking why couldn't we make use of other frequencies which are abundant all over to attempt the same thing.

What I thought of was a sphere comprised of various layers, each stretched (I don't know/can't think what they would be made of) to react/synch/vibrate with a certain frequency, like cosmic rays or background noise, heat, motion etc. Each time they reacted to this outside force(s) they, through tensile generation would produce energy; which could then be stored (through the use of capacitors) or directly converted to another form of energy, say Electricity.

Now, the direction i'm heading in is that a successful combination using all possible forms of frequency would be able to generate continuous usable levels of electric power to do pretty much anything with.

Sorry for the wall of text. I kind of got carried away.
