"You will not stop me!" - Main villain

Yes I will stop you. And I will laugh.

Alternatively - "Its/I'm/We're just getting started.

"I have captured an enemy base" - If you ever play a Koei Warriors' game. This phrase will haunt you.
"This cannot be!"
"Impossible!" - Frequently with a gradual form of tone.

Because I've played God of War too many times, I get sick of hearing anything along the lines of "You've disrespected the gods for the last time!"

Any variation of "You must fulfill your destiny", which basically translates into "you must go ahead and risk your life to defeat an all-powerful villian even though you have never been in real combat and will most likely get killed yet I'll still pick you instead of the many experienced and veteran soldiers guarding my village/castle/manor."

I HATE that saying and I don't even know what it stands for. I know it is military code for OM but what is that supposed to mean?

"Hey can you do me a favor..."

Even if it's not the Exact quote, it's still says you have to do something for someone before they hand over the macguffin (Power chrystals, hearts, gems etc)

Cortex shows us how it needs to be done.

Fucking wonderful

I don't really consider any lines to be cliche, assuming they're used in the right context.

Really? I can't remember ever hearing that. "I have defeated an officer," on the other hand...

Luckily, Samurai Warriors (2) managed to mix it up a little, at least with the English translation.

Anything with 'the world' in it. Like, 'the world depends on your actions', 'the world is quite literally at stake', 'you are the last hope of the world'.

I'm at a point where saving the world is very ho-hum. Which is strange, when you think about it. What if I actually saved the world, eh?! Have video games ruined me, have they stolen the glory which I should have (but now won't) someday feel once I've literally saved the world and everyone on it from certain destruction?

I mean, it's a possibility.

Ugh, and here I had thought I would never have to endure that phrase. You reminded me of it, you heartless bastard! Jesting aside, if you ever have played the Empire variations of DW, you will know that phrase well.
