That's the right answer. And all the brown-eyed people leave the next day...sorry I didn't post this earlier guys...my internet was down for a bit.

All right, then it's my turn. This is a riddle I wrote in the true sense of riddling, so it's pretty difficult. Well here it is:

It spends its nights upon a stand,
And if you plan, it lends a hand.
What is it?

actually it's a telescope. alarm clock would fit if it weren't for the subtle hints.
aka look for the words "planet" and "lens"
