The journalist misrepresenting the quote is more to blame if anything by sensationalizing choice words to garner greater attention. It is especially insulting when a source proclaims "free speech," integrity, honesty, et cetera, yet essentially holds a speaker hostage to the content of their entire wording by extracting anything potentially inflammatory by itself. Worse still, as in this case with Cliffy B., one must validate ridiculous accusations by defending and shedding light on the context, something the reporting source should have done in the first place to live up to their standards of "integrity" and "honesty," oh wait...

Not really, Gears in my opinion was pretty terrible.

I'm hoping you mean it was a game you just didn't enjoy, because it surely wasn't bad, it was quite well made. It was just uninteresting (to me anyways).

But saying someone can't enjoy their creation without looking like a tool kind of makes you look like... a tool.
