Closing up shop

So i just found out that an albertsons by my house is closing up shop next month. When i heard the news i was saddened by it but im not sure why. Maybe it's cause i've gone to that particular store alot since i was a kid, but i don't know. Anyone here ever feel the same way about a place they knew?

I was for a while when a comic and general nerdy merchandise store, Infinity and Beyond, shut down.
But then they reopened somewhere else in town with a bigger store and a little cafe, so it's all good.

The whole Hollywood franchise, I went to the local rental place near me my whole childhood for the newest games and movies, it was shut down entirely, you know why? The fucking Red Box, people always went there to rent their movies and eventually games, assholes killed it. Yet Blockbuster is still alive, I never went there for a long time, only once in my life, wonder what they're doing to stay afloat.

I hate to see any comic book or video stores go under. especially when it's so hard to find a store that has specialty items like anime merchandise or classic games.
