Huh, this threads nearly a year old...

OT: I bought a suit recently, because I could. With a sweet black and red tie and a nice white shirt and a belt.

I went clothes shopping about three hours ago. Saw this neat Austrian army jacket in a disposal store really cheap, looked really warm but it's got this massive padded collar and a funny uncomfortable string-thing around the waist, I don't think it looks right on me so I didn't buy it. Might take the girlfriend there, try it on, and ask her "is it just my paranoia or do I really look like a tard in this jacket?". Actually, maybe it would look better on her...

(just noticed that this thread is a mega necro-bump, wow)

Yesterday. I almost bought a new Suit Jacket, but bought a Nerf Gun instead (it cost less than the jacket). I'm not fond of clothes shopping and only do so when I really need to.

I bought some gym shorts last week. I started working out, so I needed more than 2 pairs. so it was shopping from necessity I suppose.

Besides picking up band shirts and stuff like that, I haven't gone on a "Clothes Shopping" trip since I got the pants I'm wearing right now.(which was 11 months ago)

It wouldn't hurt to look for some stuff at the thrift store this weekend...$10 for a bomb-squad jacket. Take that, Hot Topic!

I love shopping for clothes but because I got big hips and a larger chest, it is hard to find pants and shirts that fit just right.

Financial issues meant, no clothes shopping, which is a disheartening thing indeed. If such was not the case, I am more than confident my clothing budget would well exceed my media budget and by well I mean "destroy." Does not help I have expensive taste.

I know I need to, but I literally can't. I walk into a clothes store and it takes me 5 seconds to freak out and walk out again.

Really, I feel crazy uncomfortable around fashion, it's a weird, annoying problem :S

I usually only go clothes shopping like twice a year. And it's usually the same shit... t-shirts, jeans, new hoodie or sweatchirt, and maybe a new jacket or coat about once a year. The only thing I go and buy regularly is socks and underwear, but those are more essentials then anything. And shoes, shit... I will rock a pair of shoes until they fall apart, and i usually get something in lethal and made to endure so they last a long long time.

I like to go clothes shopping - or at least the idea of it. In actuality, it's a chore, because the clothes shops around here are so bloody pathetic that finding something is just about an exercise in futility, and I'm not confident enough about my own sizes to buy much online. However, on the rare occasions where I am lucky and the shops have things I like in them, then it can buoy my mood for days! :D I think the problem is that my own style is a very eclectic mix of various 'alternative' genres and so it takes a lot of hunting to find stuff that works on me, or that I like.

I wear T-Shirts, jeans or cargo pants, and utilitarian shoes. Plus a vest with a lot of pockets.

I rarely need new clothes.

Seeing how the only game store near by is located in a mall where there is cloths, I always check out the clothing stores when I get games. If I see something I like I get it, you never know when the next retarded trend will come and I will be unable to buy cloths. Such as the skinny jean trend, I hate them so much and I could not find and regular jeans where I shop for a year. Also I buy cheap cloths so they don't last as long, but hey $20 for pants and $5 for a shirt is a deal I can't pass up.

I really like clothes shopping, its just hard to finds stuff that I really like but can still afford. I wear a lot old stuff that I've picked up relatives, such as leather jackets that I've had for 8 years.
If I'm really bored I sometimes go to a clothes shop and just try stuff on wishing I could buy it. Is that sad?
Sometimes though I'll just splurge on something I really want initally and then alomst imediately regret it. I just bought an army jacket because I thought it was an M65, the kind DeNiro wears in Taxi driver. Turns out I was wrong and it doesn't even fit me anyway (too big), but I can't return it because its been worn and put some of my pins throught and they're rididculously harsh about returns.

The other day I saw a hat I really liked and it was only 8 quid but I hadn't been paid yet so i waited a day. Went back and couldn't find it at all, was in a rush to get back to college as well so I just bought soemthing that I thought looked a bit like it. When I bought it I thought it was brown and I've only just realied it's grey, plus it's really tight on my head. Sad thing is my Mum is better at picking clothes for me than I am.

If you really need that many compartments, you should probably just go get a utility belt.

I like clothes shopping, quite a lot, but I'll generally avoid it like a plague because I outright hate the idea of being watched while doing such. Also not a fan of how women's clothing has this absurd trend of having to (almost) always show off clevage as though it needs to vent heat constantly.

I also feel pity for men having to shop for clothes, there's practically no selection in those departments, more men might enjoy it if they had more options.
