Out of curiosity: how can they see that you are trying/going to help rather than run them over, or kill them? I mean, if 96% of the people are indeed jerks, it seems like the safest bet would be to assume everyone will try to kill you, right?Javarock said:Assholes in GTA4
I Drive up to help them, Or to play as a team you know againsit the cops even on a server where friendly fire is not allowed and they fucking shoot my car or try to kill me. I Try to help them so we may have some fun but they are so parinoid by the other jerks in the games that they don't think anyone has the abilty to be kind or help them in a tight situations, So they shoot. Or you know they just wanted to be a jerk. Either way any time I try to help I get about 1/25 People who will regonize the act and hop in or politly walk away.

OT: I guess friendly fire is the big no-no. I do prefer it when it's on in cooperative shooters though, because I like that you have to think a little before you shoot. However, a couple of my friends who aren't very good at the game are easily startled and will (try to) shoot everything that moves. And even though FF damage is usually less than what the enemy can do, it seems like these are the only occasions when those guys all of a sudden have pinpoint accuracy.
