Co-op in Mass Effect 3 confirmed!

We can officially confirm that there will be a multiplayer feature in Mass Effect 3. However, please reserve your appraisal until we are able to give more information. Our Executive Producer Casey Hudson says it best: "Yes, co-op MP missions for ME3: they're real, and they're spectacular. Rest assured it's nothing of what you've feared. More soon..."

Tune in for a special BioWareTV episode at 10AM on Wednesday October 12th to have all your questions answered!

I got one thing to say: F*CKING YEAH! This is great news.

I'm interested to see if it's just 2 player co-op, or if they are going to include it as 3 player (based on party size). Sadly i fear it might not be the single-player campaign, but rather special co-op missions. But lets wait and see at wednesday!

As long as the singleplayer didn't suffer, I see no reason to complain about this. A good co-op would be nice.

Umm mass effect has been built as a single player Game in all aspects. why add co-op now of all times. i dnt wanna sound like a downer but most likely this wnt work. most likely its going to cause the single player to suffer.

Hell yes! This is possibly the best news ever. Co-op play with a friend has made some otherwise average games into incredible experiences for me, so I can only imagine how much fun ME3 - a game that is no doubt going to be spectacular even played alone - will be when played with a friend.

Best news to emerge from the video game world in a while if you ask me.
