CoD Zombies

My 2 brothers are HUGE CoD guys. The only they do is play MW2. So much so that they rag on me for not really liking MW2 and not being very excited for Black Ops. I've tried to get them to play things like Fallout 3 and Bioshock, but they just don't care. Any suggestions?

I actually thought this was going to be about Zombie mode for WAW (and hopefully Black Ops!). I'm a huge COD fanatic mainly because I'm a VERY competitive person. Fallout and Bioshock were great games, but they just don't offer the rush you get with competitive online. Chances are they will never change. Umm my suggestion is to start playing with them?

OT battlefield 2 was a CoD clone, try that, and MoH is almost certainly going to be...

I believe they said zombines in Black Ops, becuase one of the preorders in old maps from WAW I believe.

I like COD.
Its one of those things that im looking forward to, but not excited about you know?
Like there are so many good games coming out, that i just cant put Black Ops at the top of my list.

But the zombies in Black ops is gunna be sweet.
probably worth buying black ops just the Zombies.

i think you should try a more subtle approach try different shooters with mild story and see if you can ease them into other games

Okay, maybe I'm not THAT much of a curmudgeon (really, I'm not), but if anyone wonders why Activision can raise prices and ask for subscription fees (eventually), I bet it's guys like them they're aiming at.

I wish they would release the Zombie mode as a stand alone disc, or as a downloadable game. I hated CoDWaW, but felt left out on the fun of the zombie mode. But I'm not paying $60+ for the game and all the maps. Same way with Black Ops. Not even giving it a chance. I saw those MP gameplay vids. All I heard the whole time was birds chirpping "cheap, cheap, cheap."

Okay, maybe I'm not THAT much of a curmudgeon (really, I'm not), but if anyone wonders why Activision can raise prices and ask for subscription fees (eventually), I bet it's guys like them they're aiming at.

Agreed. CoD4 brought Call of Duty to the online arena in a huge way. After CoDWaW, Activision realized how popular CoD could be. They dumbed it down and made it easier and made CoDMW2. We all know how that went. Now Black Ops is just cashing in on the gaming drug that is CoD. Soon they will have subscriptions for it and none of ^^these^^ kind of people will flinch at it. Glad I didn't become one of those people. Almost, but I went to Rehab ( <-- see avatar. )

My rehab was getting yelled at by a 12 year old for hard-scoping. It was really funny because I would camp as a sniper in a S&D match with thermal and a silencer and just pick the last person off who was trying to plant the bomb.

Also I will probably check out Black Ops if my brother ends up getting it but other than that I am looking for a Story Driven FPS and am glad MoH is coming back.

Battlefield was so not a CoD clone. Run and gunning deathmatch versus large scale tactical battles? I agree with the MoH part though...having played the Beta it feels like a slower MW2. With less guns and no perks.

Wait, let me get this straight: A kid yelled at you for actually aiming? I'm not really sure what the term means, but does that mean you just aim for a long time? I only use ARs and SMGs.

you evidently never played either battlefield bad company or battlefield bad company 2. compared the first game BFBC2 was a shameless CoD knock off.

and did you not play the single player of those games or did you only watch the adverts where the multiplayer was advertised? BFBC2 imitates CoD6 almost down to the choice of levels.

Only played singleplayer BC2. Played MW2 and BC2 multi a lot though. To add another point...BC2 has freaking tanks and helicopters.
