On topic, I don't 'hate' it, especially since the game isn't out yet. Sure, it doesn't look overly convincing but if it were any thicker you wouldn't see shit all. Besides it's no more annoying than WaW's damage screen effect.
It might be a bit obtrusive now, but with time everyone will get used to it. Besides, it's all the more incentive to not get hit.
It's not "CoD6" Because it is not the 6th Call of Duty game . I believe the original Modern Warfare ("CoD4") was the 6th (I may be wrong). I hate it when games are named in this fashion...it's only slightly less annoying than the "Make a sequel and give it the exact same name as an earlier game in the series" method.
I have a sudden urge to have a strawberry jam sandwich. While the blood does look a little juicy, but I think I'll be able to live with it.

If it's really that hard to write that extra two letters after the Games title you really shouldn't be on an internet forum, especially one like the escapist.
