Back in '04 when Steam made computers blow up, there was a free game named Codename:Gordon a 2d side scroller of HL2. Well I made a google search and they all say "Its on Steam for free" but when I search Steam the game aint there.

Is there any place were this game is still available for download or something?

steam://install/92

This should start the install for it, just put it in your browsers address bar.

Strange its still available on steam, but it doesn't appear in any games lists.

- Reading up on it, looks like it was removed from Steam due to the developers website being replaced by a porn site.

They used to have it on Steam, but apparently the domain name expired and it got picked up by a porn site, according to Wikipedia. I did find it by doing a Google search and it ran on Steam. I would recommend being careful because it also put a virus on my account and I had to reinstall my games.

It is kind of a fun game though. I'd like to see more sidescroller versions of new games.

The half-life 2 delay fiasco almost left my memory. Now I opened this thread.

Codename gordon reminds of all the delays for HL2. This is what they gave us instead of HL2 when it was supposed to come out in like 2003.

I put that in my browser and it just runs a google search of it. Is it because I have Chrome?
