Coffee; Some can't live without it, others can't be bothered with it, even with pounds of sugar.

Where do you sit on the fence? Love, Hate or Ignore?

Additionally, how could you hate coffee?
Additionally, Additionally, if you do love coffee, where do you buy yours?

And yes, I am VERY aware that all of Starbuck's coffee is horridly bitter and few can stomach it.

Edit: Crap, I botched the poll.

I prefer tea. Coffee has a different kind of bitter taste that I can't much stand unless it's heavily flavored with milk and sugar (in the case of Japanese Milk Coffee). Tea just seems more natural and refreshing to me.

As for what tea I like, peppermint and green teas are my favorite.

I have a problem with the dependence on caffeine in today's culture. I have no problem with coffee. I don't drink it myself because of my own mental instability which coffee affects drastically. My real problem is with people who rely on 3 or 4 of those large-ass cups from Starbucks a day. In addition to overdose on caffeine, how much does each one of those cost? How much a day is that on coffee? Thanks to that kind of caffeine dependence, caffeine has become a more expensive addiction then cigarettes.

EDIT: For the record I am a tea man. I have about 9 different types in my cupboard.

Tea I like, especially green, but I adore the taste of iced coffee (Sugared, no cream.) , and I do try to stick to Decaf, whenever possible.

Edit: I get my fix from Dunkin' Donuts.

I hate coffee. I like tea, but it needs half and half or it dries out my mouth like a vacuum. I prefer iced tea or soda for my caffeine.

I like coffee, and Starbucks isn't bitter at all, it is usually considered too weak and "poncey" (for want of a better word) for the coffee connoisseur.

I like Starbucks, but primarily because it is 5 minutes from my room. I've never really thought about going decaf. I do like green tea on occasion though.

A bit of coffee in the morning if I need it for lecture, but my true love is southern sweettea. And now I can't stop thinking about it. Sigh...

I share your love, I suppose. It's quite good, but hurts my teeth, and reminds me I need to see a dentist... Now I can't stop thinking about THAT.. Ugh...

If I drink coffee? Yes and no.

Let me elaborate; I don't like coffee, not at all actually. I find it bitter and untasteful. However, at parties it's quite common to mix coffee with either vodka or moonshine here, so I'll drink that, and it's acceptable (after a couple of cups that is).

@ Fightgarr-Heh. I remember reading an old Judge Dredd comic (one of the restarts from when that horrible movie was made) and these dudes in a speakeasy got busted for smoking cigarettes and eating chocolate, because both were apparently illegal and I remember thinking 'Hah! That'd never happen'...Whoops.

On Topic! I used to be a caffeine FREAK, like those coffee snobs you saw in 10 Things I Hate About You...until the day, while working at the local college, I had around 15 shots of espresso in about twenty minutes...my heart was in my throat, I was sweating, I couldn't concentrate...I think I almost died...after that, well, I backed off, severely. Left to my own devices, I think I have about a cup a month anymore...hell, I have a nice bag of Kona blend in the cupboard that's probably gone bad, which is tragic, but there you go.

I brew my own coffee every morning. Usualy with a little milk and a small spoon of sugar. Dunkin' Doughnuts is pretty good most of the time, I usualy buy a small cup if i'm in the area and it's not to late.

I love a nice hot tea mostly, though coffee is alright, tons of milk preferably. I think that's called a Latte in the fancy places, not my scene. I don't go to coffee houses in this country but on holiday in America I tried out a Starbucks coffee of some sort. Was just fizzy shit in a cardboard cup. Not overly impressed that they seem to be taking over the world.

I absolutely love coffee (and tea). Though I feel like I'm missing out as caffeine barely affects me.

It bothers me when people I know completely write off anything coffee-eske as disgusting without any knowledge of it. Some specialty coffees are sweeter than cocoa!
