Coldplay is a british band, they're pretty good but alot of people don't like them because they dont really fall into any category of music other than the very generalised genre "Rock." I myself love the band because they have great songs.

No, people don't like them because they're a terribly, bad imitation of RadioHead.

Of course, I would still go see them if they were in town.

Personally I love Coldplay. I won't be seeing them in Dublin, since I'm from the next country over (well, two countries if you want to be exact and count Wales as a full country). But yeah, I really do love them.

By the way, to anyone who does like them, who agrees that if the video for Strawberry Swing had been released earlier it would have been a great contender for the Male Video of the Year award the other night with MTV? At least they can always try and get it nominated next year though. Stop motion and Coldplay really go well together, IMO
