When have you been guilty of buying a collectiable edition?

Personally, I'm getting the collectible limited-edition Assassins Creed II Black edition... AND the collectible limited-edition Assassins Creed II White edition!

Call of Duty 2, special edition.

C&C Tiberium Wars, Kane edition.

Thats all I think, so I guess I'm still guilty.

Gears 2 special edition.

Halo Wars special edition.

Those are the only special editions I have.

Most Final Fantasy Games. I love their Box Art and most other Japanese oriented games. Blaze Blue for example.

Tabula Rasa, Age of Conan and Fallout 3 (twice). I'm gonna get City of Heroes : Going Rogue if that gets a collector's edition, too.

Sadly, I've never bought a special edition.
Games here cost too much as it is.

I got the Battlefield Bad Company collectors edition, and I jumped through all those whoops to get the "Collect all five!" guns.

So worth it.

Hope they do it again with Bad Company 2.

Halo Wars: Special Edition.

Hey, it was worth the extra £5 just for the nice metal case. Unoftunately, it wasn't worth the £40 for the game itself.

Yeah, a couple of times. Dreamfall: The Longest Journey (which was actually worth it), Medieval Total War.

I got the special edition of fallout 3. You get a lunchbox and bobble head. The in the making video was really good and so was the artwork book. Outstanding package and I don't regret it for a second. I got the bioshock collectors edition as well.

The Witcher Enhanced Edition. Not quite the same, but it does come with a bunch of extra stuff.

Used to be, you bought a game and got a few extras as a bonus. The old Ultima games used to come with various trinkets, cloth maps and manuals full of extra info.

The Warhammer Online collectors edition. It was worth it for the Art Book.

I'm pondering the AC2 Black Edition.

I'll be getting the Collector's Edition of Final Fantasy: Dissidia with the new PSP it comes with in a month or so. =]
