Ok everyones, Need a lil help from you all...
pretty easy really, its basically creating your own ideal weapon class / kit.

For Example:

Assault Kit
Primary Gun :
Secondary Gun :
Grenade 1 :
Grenade 2 :
Melee Weapon / Attack :

Something like that... but I need it done for 4 different kits... so if you want to do 4 different kits, then please do. If you can only think of one, then just post that.
I want each one as your ideal kit for that class.


4 Kits could be like Assault / Spec Ops / Engineer / Medic - They don't have to be those 4 kit types, if you want to name your own kit then go ahead, if you want to make something like a paratrooper kit or sniper etc.. please do so. Use your imagination. Kits don't have to be a certain timezone. If you like future games, then go ahead and add laser beams or shit into your kits.

If you want more guns in your kit, go for it.. you don't have to stick by the exact template up in the post, if you want 2 primary guns, then 5 secondary go for it..

The more feedback i get the better, its research for my Final Major Project, not me just being lazy.
Keep it serious please, as this will most likely be printed out and handed in, so keep off arguments, telling people their wrong and what not.

In all seriousness though, I do Games Development as my subject at college.
My final Major is the big project before I've finished.

My final major consists of

Building 2 x 4 Player teams - Each player must have a different kit. So for example 1 Engineer, 1 Assault, 1 Medic, 1 sniper.
So basically i need to build 8 character models.. split into 2 teams

So before i design and model the characters with weapons, I need to do research of what gamers would prefer in kits - hense why I've asked not only this community.. but a few others.

So this is basically part of my research before i go into the design stages.
Hopefully that makes sense

Question: Are you talking kit in terms of Call of Duty 4 - fully realistic weapon kits or Team Fortress 2- whatever you think might by cool to kill someone with?

I'm not limiting it to any game.

If you want to base your kits in the future, and have like a laser fire shotgun then go ahead. If you want to base it on weapons in cod4. TF2.. or any other game...

If you want to base on any other real life weapons.. its totally down to you.

If most of my feedback leads to modern day weapons, then that will be the theme of my kits / characters. If my feedback leads to futuristic weapons - my theme will be based on that.

Its really down to you.

Secondary: Boleadoras, to stun the enemy and make him trip.
A Smoke grenade and a Choking gas grenade.
