The slight problem your detecting seems to be the sound, it lacks sweetening. It could be because this is pre production, or because youtube is cocking the audio channels up bad, or both.

I wouldn't worry too much, they made it clear they weren't going to screw with the show.

THE COMPLETE COLLECTION [http://www.amazon.com/Futurama-Complete-Collection-Matt-Groening/dp/B0029XFNBC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1276519284&sr=8-1]

Well, it's not "complete" anymore...but who cares?! It's a giant Bender head with 19 DVDs worth of Futurama inside!
Why is that not in my possession at this very moment?! I just saw the price...just another reason to save up.

Sweet!

Yeah they probably won't be airing this in my country, but there are "other means" of watching it. Then I'll probably want better quality and import the dvds.

You know... I've never understood why those "other means" are considered illegal, I mean they are always pretty bad quality and usually if I like something and can afford to, I'll get the dvds anyway...
Actually, those other means could be a bit less illegal than one might think. Someone with knowledge on anime fansubs might know more.
It's got something to do with the show not being available in your country/language. If nobody is making the show available to you, you're in no way a potential customer, so it's impossible for you to be a financial loss to anyone, if you download the show.

So right now, watching it via "other means" is sort of semi-legal, but once a network buys the show, and starts showing it to us, it's plain illegal. It's like some never-ending cartoon prohibition shuffle.

To end on a weird thought: If torrenting those episodes is illegal, it would mean that Futurama Season 6 is outlawed in your country, and mine.

To get back on topic. YAY! Futurama is back! Can't wait to see the new episodes. I've got nothing but fan glee to add, I'm afraid.

Fuck! Why am I always away from the TV when my favorite shows are on? I'm always stuck with Oprah or Cops.

Thanks for the sneak peak, though. I'll get to see the premiere eventually...
