I haven't read a good comedy book in a while. I'm looking for something new to read I'm currently waiting to get Me of Little by Lewis black. Give me some ideas for some truly funny books.

Truth.

IF you can find them, anything by Patrick F. McManus.

'Good Omens' by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. Damn good stuff, and clever to boot.

I've tried to read the Hitchhiker's guide, but it's too much for me. I consider myself a very good reader, but can't seem to get into it.

ANYTHING by Terry Pratchett. the Discworld series is brilliant. if you haven't broken into the series. "The Colour of Magic" and "The Light Fantastic" were the first 2 published, but there are plenty other places to start. "Guards! Guards!", "Mort", "Going Postal"
for a more real-world story- Syrup by Maxx Barry is pretty funny, and enlightening.
