You might want to edit your post before the "grammar Nazis" get here.

OT: Possibly Big Bang Theory or maybe Futurama or maybe The Inbetweeners.

I have a fair few (although I haven't watched some of them in quite some time). In no particular order

Big Bang Theory
Arrested Development
Community
Futurama
Blackadder
A Bit Of Fry And Laurie
Porridge
The Two Ronnies
Father Ted
Scrubs
Family Guy
The Simpsons
American Dad!
The Thick Of It
The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin
Fawlty Towers

EDIT:

I don't know about any comady shows but I can recommend some comedy shows.

Faulty Towers and Blackadder II and IV are great. All 3 of them are short and very witty.

Too late, I saw.

Spelling Spetsnaz that's brilliant.

It?s probably a tie between Friends, Scrubs and The Inbetweeners. All three are guaranteed to make me crack up in laughter in the majority of the episodes.

Blackadder or Black Books. Blackadder is unusual in that the fourth and final series is arguably the best, and certainly my favourite.

"Farty Towels" according to the sign outside.

I like Linehan's stuff. Father Ted and Black Books are series that I revisit every couple of years.

There was a series called "Better off Ted" too in recent years that was great but didn't do well.

I'm not too picky with my comedy. I'll just leave the TV on Comedy Central all day and watch whatever's on that.

But my favorites are:
South Park
Futurama
Scrubs (My father has all 9 seasons on DVD. Awesome sauce.)
The Boondocks
Simpsons
American Dad
Family Guy (To a certain extent)
Chapelle's Show
Adventure Time

I think you mean "all 8 seasons". There was never a ninth season. *cough*

OT: If I had to choose only one show that strictly categorizes itself as a comedy, it'd be Scrubs. It might sound like a stupid reason, but what really elevates it above most of the other "comedies" I've seen is that it doesn't rely on a laugh-track. [sub][sub][sub]Well, it also balances out the wacky, zany comedy with a lot of realistic, emotional moments too.[/sub][/sub][/sub]

Oh, yeah, that's what I meant. >.>

Thanks for reminding me.

Now if you don't mind, I gotta bury some... "non-existent seasons."

Just doing my job, good citizen! shrekfan246, awayyyyyy!

[sub][sub][sub][sub]Season 9 was okay, but it just wasn't really "Scrubs". Bill Lawrence should've stuck firm to his idea of giving it some sort of subtitle or something to distinguish it from the previous seasons.[/sub][/sub][/sub][/sub]

Community, Chuck, Friends (mainly because of Chandler), and The Office (at least the first few seasons).

Okay, I'll list my favorites

Futurama, Simpsons(Yes, even the new episodes. But that Lady Gaga episode sucked. I recommend the Job Heist. The Neil Gaimen episode), IT Crowd, and even though it's not really a comedy, Avatar: The Legend of Korra. So much great writing and characters in that show. American Dad has been growing on me, I didn't watch it until last year. How I Met Your Mother has nice plot development, but to understand the jokes you have to watch it from the start. Avoid Big Bang Theory at all costs. That piece of shit is somehow an Emmy winner despite its terrible jokes and delivery.
