Between classes today I am lying in the most comfortable armchair/footrest arrangement known to man (or, at any rate, to the school library). I am doing work and relaxing in a ray of sunlight streaming from the large window directly beside me. I can't really remember when I have gotten this much enjoyment out of just sitting reading various government texts and Astronomical facts.

I don't see myself moving for a while.

So, I just thought I'd ask: are you comfortable?

Or you could just talk about comfort in general. The sensation, or merely the definition, for you wordy people.

Oh hell yes.
I'm on my dorm room bed, which has two mattress pads, and then I've got two body pillows arranged behind me as a back rest while my laptop rests on a swiveling shelf, with a rolling bedtable serving as a mousepad/general stuff area.

Quite comfy.

Wow. That is quite a setup. Makes my armchair seem downright pedestrian.

I'm a nature kind of guy. If I had my way I'd be like Beorn from the Hobbit (bear form and all).

I'm currently in the middle of a run-down suburban area in one of the flattest, hottest, and most artificial places in America.

I've got plenty of money, a decent house, and good food, but I'm not comfortable in the slightest. Fortunately, that's being remedied next year.

One win for epic kludges?
I think so.

I'm comfortable everywhere. I mean, my back hurts all the time and I stopped caring where do I sit. All I need is space for my legs and a book to sleep on top of.

Not really, no, but that's largely in part to a chronic neck cramp. I have a misaligned vertebra and it's pinching a nerve. It'll be there for the rest of my life. So basically, in the sense of comfort, my maximum level will always be "ok".

I'm sitting on my girlfriend's lap at the moment so yes, yes I am comfortable.
Girlfriends are comfortable unless their elbows are really sharp and poking into your ribcage. I have a problem with that.

I am actually rather comfortable, sat on a bean bag next to a radiator. Nice and warm and relaxed.

Here's how I sit:

I am a very messy lazy person

It's absurdly comfy though

But I have this nagging feeling that maybe I am crushing her...
