So, I was playing Killing Floor the other day, and I realized that I, currently a medic, was carrying my medic gun, dual handcannons, and dual 9mms; generally boasting more firepower than you'd usually see a medic using. It got me thinking:

Wouldn't it be interesting if there was a comic series or graphic novel about a medic who was a beyond-badass soldier that carried $hit-tons of firepower?

I got to thinking about it, and I imagined up a plot centering around a private contractor hired to move into war-torn areas in unstable countries in order to rescue and/or deliver medical assistance to persons of interest. His main goal, in the end would be to guarantee the safety to people he was hired to protect. Naturally, he'd act in areas where hostage negotiations had ultimately failed and would carry both the skills and the hardware necessary to "pacify hostilities" as HK-47 would say it, basically tactically barging in, mowing down the baddies, and giving emergency medical care to the target.

It would be funnier if it was a medic who thought his legitimate weapons were for healing the wounded.

"I need a medic!"

"Here I am!" *RAT-A-TAT-TAT* "You okay?"

"Blarg, I'm dead."
