Johnny the Homicidal Maniac is a must for anybody who can be even slightly entertained by pictures with word bubbles.

any specific writers i should keep an eye out for except for frank miller and alan moore
A list writers from the top of my head in no specific order:
Neil Gaiman (ok, this is the only in-order entry, he's #1. Sandman, Neverwhere)
Alan Moore (uhm yah, him)
Warren Ellis (Transmetropolitan, Global Frequency, Planetary, Authority)
Art Spiegelman (Maus)
Bill Willingham (Fables)
Grant Morrison (The Invisibles -warning: insane stuff-)
Brian K Vaughan (Y the Last Man)
Brian Wood (DMZ, Demo, Local)
Frank Miller (Personally I've grown rather un-fond of him but ok)
Matt Fraction
Ed Brubaker
Garth Ennis (Preacher, the Boys)
Dave McKean (Cages, also illustrator or co-creator on many books)

news?
g4tv.com has Blair Butler's weekly roundup (that girl needs more credit)
newsarama.com is a mainstay in comics news (though hard to get an overview)
youtube.com/pulpsecret = the stack (ultra geeky comic book reviews)

Oh yeah, I read a lot of Vertigo stuff so my list of writers is slanted in that direction.

thanks a lot but im still looking for a comics news site like kotaku for games and cinematical for movies
News site?...Theres not much news when it comes to comics. Your best bet is probably the Marvel and DC official sites. But, if you want some good information on comics that also geeky and funny as hell, try spill.com and the League of Extremely Ordinary Gentlemen podcasts.

IGN usually does a little bit on comics too.
checked out spill.com. hilarious and geeky as shit but not so much comic book stuff. well i guess ill just have to rely on ign
Oh, mostly it's movie stuff, but the League is a podcast on the site for everything else geeky (mostly comics, but I think they're doing a gaming podcast next week sometime). They did a Alan Moore episode last week, just skip past the hours of them ripping the Watchmen movie to shreads any you'll get a pretty good selection of things he's done that you might be interested in.

I've only read Watchmen, Swamp Thing and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, which I can heartily recommend, but I've heard a lot of good things about V for Vendetta, From Hell and Top 10 as well, so check them all out. Alan Moores pretty much garanteed quality.
