A long title...anyways

I got a copy of the game and it's expansion from a friend of mine 2 days ago. Installed it, played a bit of the campaign then tough I will do a good ol' skirmish. Then I remembered there was no way how to disable super-weapons...Now you might ask why would I want to do that? Well simply 'cause it makes the game more fun, for me at least.

On Red Alert 3 you didn't had this option neither, but I downloaded a "mod" that disabled super-weapons. Sad thing is I can't find any mods to do the same on C&C Zero Hour. So, anyone of you have a site where I could download a mod to disable this, maybe screw around with the games "data" folder or something. Anything just to disable them. (And yes I did try Google.)

There was a mod that messed with the AI, so rather then building a superweapon, it would build a base defence.

I wish I could remember where that was.

Just use yours and a generals strike to keep theirs dead, works fine with the one limit on - unless of course your taking on multiple enemies... gl with that...

Oh, and try out the Shockwave mod if you get bored of vanilla. Sweet mod that extended the life of the game for me by ohh, 3 years.

Just an opinion here, but i didn't like Generals or ZH, Kane's Wraith was by far the best C&C that has came out for C&C.

But i also have the C&C3 super weapon disable mod, but i don't know the other one.

C&C died with Red Alert 2.

Theres a mod for Generals that changes the AI behaviour. They wont bother into doing Super Weapons unless the match took a really long time.
