Command & Conquer's Kane Didn't Anticipate Ongoing Storyline

The character Kane is awesome. Too bad the series went down hill after Tiberium Sun.

Not sure where he is now. Haven't played CnC4.

You really shouldn't: Sometimes ignorance IS bliss...

The gameplay may have deteriorated somewhat since the good ol' days (though I still quite liked C&C3), but C&C4 goes that extra length to replace it with a watered down version of Dawn of War's, and butcher the story as well. I'll give a hint of what it's like in the spoiler below (spoilered because anyone familiar with these movies might be able to guess major parts of the plot from them).

Huh, I always kind of suspected that they didn't really have an overarching plan, but it certainly didn't stop me from speculating about the origins of Kane and his Brotherhood of Nod.

Kane is quite easily one of my favourite, if not my number one favourite, videogame characters in existence.

If the events of the tiberium universe happened I definitely think I'd be with NOD.

Let me put it like this. Kane(ie Joe Kucan) is the only reason you'll get C&C4 for.

I know that's the only reason I want to buy it.

I really hope he finds more live action cutscene work now that C&C is finished. I less than 3 Russ Pitts Joe Kucan.

Yeah, this figures. The story started really good, when it was simply "meglomaniac and his private high tech guerilla army vs world" - now they're just grasping straws.

But hey, all good things must come to an end.
