I'm gonna go with my stomach and say Ray Winstone.

I'd say Karl Urban would be good.
His more well known roles are Eomer in Lord of the Rings and Bones in the new Star Trek, but the movie where he really looks like a Shepherd character is the last Bourne movie. He was the other "agent" that was trying to kill Matt Damon.
It's hard because Bones does NOT look like shepherd, but then combine him with how different the other roles he plays are and you can see he can act and with the hair cut short, he has the look.

I see what you mean. I think he could be a very good Shepard, I loved him as Bones, and in the Borne movies he had this intense assassin vibe going on.leviticusd said:
Thinking about it more I'd say Adam Baldwin. I think he could do the balance between Paragon and Renegeade Shepard. He kinda did that sort of thing as Jane Cobb in Firefly.
If they actually make the Mass Effect movie about Shepard, that will be a really stupid move. The biggest thing about Shepard is that his choices are made by you, and his background is your choice.
Why not make the movie about something else? There are tons of other things to explore.

Personally I do not care who plays Shepard in the movie, to me Commander Shepard is will always be a Ruthless Earthborn Renegade. Even though they never say where he is born I cannot help but think he is Canadian, born in Edmonton. Because well, it is a Canadian game made in Edmonton and far too many Canadian games have an American as the main character. I am keeping my Shepard Canadian.

No one because then it would ruin the movie because the point of Mass Effect is creating your own character that is why the books never focus on Shepard.
Now for Commander Stand-in I choose Samuel L Jackson, or Lester Speight, or Will Smith or that black guy from The Expendables, I find those guys hilarious.
It would be cool though if during the movie they have a panel where the majority audience gets to pick a path.

Most of those QTE renegade actions seemed perfectly reasonable. Indeed, since there were few moments in the game where you could choose either a paragon route or a renegade route, I generally took the renegade option. They often simply made sense given the circumstances. Even if you want to play a boyscout, it makes more sense to foil an ambush than fight your way through it, and given I was going to just shoot everyone anyhow why not set a few of them on fire to make it easier? I mean, it wasn't like there was a polite solution to either problem.BlastedTheWorm said:
