With the constant Halo threads and Best / worst games ever threads that seem to get posted everyday would it not make sense to sticky some of the more common topics that get used.
I for one am sick of seeing HALO threads and any 'n00bs' can post in the obvious topics before getting flamed for not searching, which isn't always successful, to be fair.

New posters might also feel more welcome and be inclined to stick with a gaming forum that does actually have a high level of intelligent debate.

Nice idea sir, but you surely overestimate the level of stupidity and block-headiness of the human race as whole. I admire your sense of purpose in searching for something meaningful and intelligent in this world and this forum in particular, but since the Halo 3 plague it is a lost cause.
(Halo 3 isn't actually a bad game, just overratted.)

I think it was just one or two people doing it, with four or so accounts.

It's not a Hate thread for anything. It just seems to me that some of the more popular discussion topics would benefit from a sticky. Halo just seems to be an obvious candidate.
