I have to confess that I rarely even look at the community games; the only one I downloaded was the Fireplace demo just to see if it really was what I thought it was. (It was. And no, I didn't buy it.) I have a tight leash on my budget and avoiding temptations such as the Community Games market is one way I have to avoid splurging.
Besides, I already have a hefty library of A-list games (many with new DLC) and Arcade titles selected primarily because I thought I'd be replaying them a lot. I want my money's worth! So community games are competing with the big boys not only for dollars but also attention... and, let's face it, since community titles are only vetted for offensive content or outright crashing it's going to take longer to sort through the community titles to find the gold among the grit.
I do wonder how the Xbox version is holding up in comparison with WiiWare and the iPhone app store, though. I think this is a problem for all such marketplaces.
