But not about the porn.

Mainly, I just feel like venting about one niggling little change that has pissed me the fuck off.
The search engine now limits the number of deviations to show you to 1000. When you are randomly searching through a pile of 50000+ pieces of artwork digging for gold, this is an extremely annoying limitation.

What do you dislike about Deviant Art? All threads need a question nowadays right?

I frequently use DeviantArt to find character portraits for RPGs I play, and the only issue I've had with it is that I frequently get error messages when searching for things, but when I re-order the words it works.

Oh, c'mon. DA is just another application of Sturgeon's Law. No more, no less.

Complaining about Deviantart is like complaining about WoW, Microsoft or being a Member of the PETA, xD I long gave up on Deviantart except where its a convenient tool for random pictures or my friends find something interesting, *shrug*

I like deviantart, most of the time, as I contribute. Although I hate the whole drawn art is porn but photographs aren't... ahem.
dA is getting kinda annoying with the limitations on the free searches. But I'm fancy nerd artist, so I have a premium membership and sidestep a lot of the annoying nonsense.

The push to get your money is a little too annoying. I just don't need their content as much as they want me to.

I used to use DA quite a bit years ago, but I had some artwork lifted off my profile and used without my permission, which I would have granted if asked. So I left and removed all my work from my profile. Recently I got back on and see that they have better theft prevention now, so I may start using it again. It doesn't seem like the community has changed much.
