Hello people's,

Yes, I search barred and yes I found things like "your favourite pc game" "best old game" "best RTS" and so on but nothing really pointed me in the right direction (I browsed for 20mins so frankly if this is a duplicate post, I tried my best)

Reason for problem - I recently upgraded my pc from 1.4mhz with 512ram to a 2.6 quad core with 8 gig tri-channel ram. (pause here for adulation)

The broad problem - What I want is one site that has a list of games, by genre, perhaps linked to reviews or whatever. Like, "these were the best RTS games released in the last 3 yrs" or "best this or that of so and so a year". I can find top 10 games of this and that year but they are not organized by genre and are just the "best" games that were released that year. I have searched for such a thing and not really found anything. I was hoping one of you fine people's might be able to point me in the right direction.

The precise problem - I want to play Stronghold crusader again. Not just the game but its upgraded, bad ass graphic, completely comprehensive older brother. (stronghold 2 blows ass, so no thank you) Or something like it.

If you have no idea about the site can anyone tell me some games they have enjoyed over the last couple years of the RTS genre that I might enjoy?

I love, any and all RTS's. Civilization, simply rules... Final Fantasy... Basically anything where crap is upgradeable. I was not a huge fan of fallout 3 but I would be willing to try another fps around the same idea.

Anyway, thanks for your help, if you can indeed help.

Metacritic maybe? You could probably just go down the list in the store on Steam and pick out the ones you might like. They do sort by category, list Metacritic scores, and have quite the backlog of older games.
