Computer comfumbling

My knowledge of computers is very lacking, which is currently quite problematic as I'm looking to purchase a new laptop soon. I'll be using for web browsing, word documents; all the usual stuff. I also hope to run a few games on it, a few older games like Deus Ex and the original Fallouts, and more recent stuff such as Fallout 3 and Mass Effect. Budget is about ?500, The dell linked is the best I've found so far. Hopefully someone with more knowledge can tell me if it's a good machine or if I can find a better alternative in the same price range. Thanks.

There is a much better one for £488, it's around 550 euro after conversion.

It's a much better laptop, I'm not sure if they deliver to europe but you can try. Sandy Bridge i5 with dedicated graphics and a 17" screen.
