Cannot Delete File: File System Error
Description of Error The Windows Error 1026 occurs because of several reasons. One reason is that there is no sufficient space on the computer hard disk. It might also occur when the user attempts to copy or remove a file over a computer network while the server is having problems in sending the file because of high network traffic volume or because of security issues. Another reason is when a file is copied or transferred to the hard disk, then erased, and the user attempts to retrieve the file by clicking Undo Copy or Undo Move.

THE PROBLEM The Windows Error 1024 may cause several problems to the user, including failure to retrieve a deleted file that was previously moved or copied to the hard disk and inability to eliminate or copy computer files over a network.Errors on your system may be caused by invalid registry entries and outdated or corrupt drivers.
THE SOLUTION To solve this error, the user can utilize the Disk Cleanup Tool in order to free up hard disk space. Another way is to setup Windows in such a way that it automatically erases a file that is deleted.
