Well, break it open, give me or one of the other technically-minded members of the forum a PM about its contents. Batch files are easy to read, and that'll help us determine what it's doing there.

This is definitely what you should do. Without looking at the contents of the file, it's hard to know whether it's harmful or not, as a lot of viruses and malware masquerade as important system processes or harmless files. I haven't tried for a while, but I think you can look at the contents of a .bat file with notepad without it running... anyone know if this is still the case?
