Computer illiteracy. Help Please.

Ok, so I'm racking my brain trying to figure something out. Can anyone help me out?? I'm trying to figure out how to post a picture in a thread, and I've read the forum help markup, but it's completely greek to me. So, if anyone could help me out and let me know how to post a picture, that would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to put it here, or message me, or scream really loud so I can hear you here in the midwest of the U.S., that'd be great. Thank you in advance and I hope I cause no undue distraction or waste anyone's time.

P.S. It's a picture of one of my tattoos, if you care.

You need to use img and /img tags. Exactly like any other tags, like italics or bold, except the URL of the image goes between them.

You use [ img ] http://www.hoax-slayer.com/images/no-bonsai-kitten.jpg [ /img ] but without the spaces. And yes, it has to be on the net beforehand.
