Recently I upgraded my graphics card to a radeon HD 4870 along with a new power supply to power it. Being new to computer gaming I started the "will this run" thread to ask if I could run Crysis: Warhead where I was told that I could run it on full settings. I bought the game but when I tryed to play it, I could barly run it on minimum settings without the fps dropping. I think the problem is my motherboard which I havent upgraded at all. so would my motherboard make that much of a difference and which motherboard wouls you sugest that I get.

Do you have the latest drivers installed?

My graphics card isn't as good as that, and it runs crysis on full setting, though glitchy. Computers are a bit difficult to understand, mainly because all the information isn't well presented.
